What qualifies as a group registration?

 Group registrations are those in which 10 or more individuals fees are paid for with one cheque or bank transfer. To benefit from reduced rates, payments must be received prior to the indicated deadlines. The following procedures must be followed carefully to avoid double billing or mistakes in the registration orders.

* Physicians in training are colleagues born on or after January 1, 1979;
 presentation of an official ID may be required.
** Allied health professionals must present a letter confirming their status,
 signed by their department head and printed on official letterhead. Nurses must provide proof of employment status.

 


What is included?

The registration fees includes admission to all scientific sessions, the industrial exhibition, all industry Satellite Symposia, the Wednesday Exhibit Hall Opening Luncheon, a meeting bag & badge, access to the final program via a mobile app, one USB drive containing all accepted abstracts and posters, a link to MS Journal Online to view all accepted abstracts and posters, an exhibitor guide, a final program-at-aglance & meeting guide, two lunches, nine coffee breaks and one admission to the Closing Networking Event.

Closing Networking Event is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is mandatory.

Teaching Courses are not included in the registration fees and can be purchased by the Group Registration Administrator or individual delegates separately.

 


Ordering packages and activities

 

Group Registration Administrators must order a defined number of delegate packages and teaching courses if needed, through the Group Registration Order Form before registering the members of the group.

After completing the online ordering process, the administrator will be able to print his/her invoice online and will automatically receive an email confirmation along with an electronic copy of the invoice. Registration fees are payable upon receipt of the invoice. A transaction number will be sent along with the invoice (appears above the invoicing address and starts with “MS”). Please make sure to keep this transaction number and use it in all future correspondence.

 


Registering members of the group

Members of the group must be registered through the Excel Group Registration Form in order to avoid delays, duplicates and errors during the registration process. The Excel Form can be downloaded using the link provided in the online invoice or the email confirmation sent to the Group Registration Administrator. The Excel Group Registration Form can be returned at any time before 31 July 2014, 23:59 (Eastern Time) but registrations of the members of the group will only be processed upon receipt of full payment.

The full address details as shown on the Excel Form are requested for each participant. Registrations will only be accepted with individual addresses (hospital/company/email) of delegates.

A confirmation email will be sent to each member of the group along with their login profile which will enable them to go back in their file to purchase teaching courses and register to the Closing Networking Event without reverting to the Group Registration Administrator. When applicable, proof of status might be required for members of the group.

Ordering or modifying additional packages or teaching courses

Group Registration Administrators can purchase additional packages or teaching courses at any time up until 31 July 2014, 23:59 (Eastern Time). Name changes are also permitted until that date free of charge.

 


U.S. Licensed Physicians & National Physician Payment Transparency Program

This section strictly applies if you are registering U.S. Licensed Physicians.

In accordance with the National Physician Payment Transparency Program: OPEN Payments (formerly known as Physician Payments Sunshine Act), U.S. licensed physicians’ NPI and specialty(s) are part of the reporting requirement of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.

Please note that the information will only be provided IF the US physician participates in a reportable event/activity as defined by legislation.

Group Administrators are responsible to provide required information in the Excel Group Registration Form OR make sure each physician sign-in their profile to provide their own information. The information required for each physician is their National Provider Identifier (NPI – ten digits number) and their specialty.

Privacy

The organizers of the 2014 Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting (MSBoston 2014) care about providing you with information to manage and protect your online privacy. The organizers will retain records solely for keeping records in accordance with ACCME policies.

 


Payment Regulations

All invoices issued must be paid before 31 July 2014, 23:59 (Eastern Time). Payments must be accompanied by the transaction number (which appears on the invoice, above the invoicing address, and starts with “MS”).

 


Payment by cheque

All cheques must be accompanied by the transaction number to expedite registration processing and to ensure payments are correctly credited. Cheques must be in US dollars and made out to "ACTRIMS".

Payment by bank transfer

Payment by bank transfer must be received by the Registration Secretariat before 31 July 2014, (23:59, Eastern Time).

Please add extra fees of $ 25 USD to the total amount indicated on the invoice to cover bank administration fees.

   1- Full name of Group Registration Administrator 
   2- City, province/state and country

Cancellation policy

Refunds are not available for group registrations. However, name substitutions will be allowed free of charge.

 


PERMISSION TO CONTACT

By registering to the 2014 Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting, delegates agree to receive email communications from ACTRIMS, the host of the 2014 Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting.

Delegates also agree that their information including email may be shared to the Joint Meeting program partners or supporting organizations for the purpose of providing them information regarding MS products or services or sending them by-invitation only special events or Satellite Symposia.

If delegates do not wish to be contacted, Opt-Out Options are available in the Excel Group Registration Form or through the online registration form.
